About the calculators

The income tax, TDS and VDS calculators use rate tables maintained by our team from published NBR notifications and the Finance Act. They give an estimate:

• They assume the assessment year shown on the calculator
• They cannot know every exemption, rebate or surcharge that applies to you
• Rates change, sometimes mid-year, and a notification may reach us late

Your filed return is your responsibility, not the calculator's.

About the practitioners listed

Experts on this platform are independent professionals, not our employees. We verify licence numbers and credentials before a profile goes live and remove anyone who misrepresents themselves — but the engagement, and the professional advice given under it, is between you and that practitioner.
